Khaberni - Manchester City's Spanish manager Pep Guardiola revealed the status of Erling Haaland and Omar Marmoush regarding their participation in the upcoming UEFA Champions League match for his team.
Manchester City is preparing to face host team Bodø/Glimt on Tuesday, as part of the seventh round of the main stage of the UEFA Champions League, in a match where the English team aims to strengthen its position in the standings.
In statements published on the club's official website, Guardiola said: "I don’t think Marmoush will be present in the Bodø/Glimt match, and I also don’t know Haaland’s situation yet, we will wait and see."
He added: "The final decision will be determined after traveling and ensuring the players’ readiness and physical condition."
Recently, Omar Marmoush finished his participation with the Egyptian national team in the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, where the "Pharaohs" ranked fourth, and during which the player scored two goals, one in the group stage against Zimbabwe, and the other in the quarterfinals against Ivory Coast, without making any decisive passes.
