Khaberni - The Parliamentary Energy and Mineral Wealth Committee continues on Tuesday the discussion of the Gas Bill for the year 2025.
The committee, chaired by MP Ayman Abu Haniyeh, started on January 7 discussing the bill in the presence of the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources, Saleh Al-Kharabsheh, and representatives from official bodies and relevant private sectors.
Abu Haniyeh emphasized that the committee deals with the bill's articles in a methodical way that considers the national interest and supports the security of energy supply, noting the committee's keenness on enhancing dialogue with experts and partners in the sector and listening to various comments and ideas which enrich the legislative discussion and contribute to the development of the final version of the bill's articles.
