11 Jobs AI Cannot Replace

Khaberni - People often talk about jobs that will become extinct due to artificial intelligence, but there are 11 jobs expected to thrive for decades despite rapid technological advancements.
In an article published on This Is Money.co.uk, James Reed, CEO of Reed, explained the 11 AI-resistant jobs that could make you earn six figures.
Reed stated that artificial intelligence could see a radical transformation in healthcare worldwide, though it is extremely important that the "human touch" remains a part of any form of care.
Reed explained: "Care assistants work with the elderly, disabled, or vulnerable individuals, offering empathy, comfort, and personalized support that no algorithm can replicate," according to unilad.
Reed added that "emotional intelligence and human connection" are essential, whether it relates to helping someone overcome their anxiety or providing end-of-life care - tasks that artificial intelligence definitely cannot perform.
Teacher
This common profession might seem like a role that could be replaced by robotic teachers, but Reed points out that AI would not be able to detect students struggling with their studies.
The CEO added: "Students require encouragement, social engagement, and positive role models in ways that AI cannot provide."
Recruitment Consultant
Reviewing resumes, organizing interviews, and choosing the right candidate are roles AI can undertake; however, Reed believes the human touch remains necessary.
He noted: Decisions to follow up on applications remain in human hands, as effective recruiters do more than just match keywords to job descriptions.
Emotional intelligence, ethical judgment, and a deep understanding of the business sector are all crucial elements in this role.
Cyber Bud
Technical jobs are often said to disappear due to the rise of AI, but Reed sees a future where cybersecurity experts can work alongside it.
Reed said: "Hackers do not operate in a predictable pattern: they innovate and exploit human behavior, adapting in real-time. The best cybersecurity specialists think like researchers and strategists simultaneously, cracking complex threats in constantly changing environments."
Paramedics
According to Reed, "AI may eventually help in diagnosing or emergency response plans, but it will never be able to physically respond to emergencies or exercise the necessary judgment and empathy during crises."
Tradesperson
According to Reed, electricians, plumbers, and carpenters can rest assured that their jobs are not at risk, and given the nature of their work, which requires solving real-life problems, AI will not be effective in this sector.
Skilled craft professions are not only safe from AI; they are poised to become increasingly in demand due to shifts towards green energy, sustainability, and building modernization, Reed mentioned.
Residential Surveyor
Reed explained: "A surveyor's report can influence negotiations on a property sale, mortgage approvals, or compliance with building standards."
In contrast, AI systems cannot assume legal responsibility, professional certifications, or ethical accountability.
Real Estate Agent
Reed believes that AI will not replace real estate agents but will assist them in their work.
Since buying a home is one of the largest decisions you can make in your life, humans will continue to be central to the real estate agency process, according to him.
Hospitality Workers
You might have seen a robot serving food in a restaurant or found hotels with a check-in system that does not require talking to any staff.
However, according to Reed, the public still prefers the personal touch, and hospitality workers, especially in high-end venues requiring human labor that adds a special touch, will not be phased out.
Entrepreneur
Although entrepreneurs can use AI to support their ideas, Reed believes there is no chance that technology will replace humans.
He explained: "The best entrepreneurs learn from failure, being able to turn an idea that seems bad in theory into a successful enterprise.
AI may become a strong tool in their arsenal, but it will not replace the human creativity capable of inventing entirely new industries."
Childminder and Nursery Worker
As with teaching, it is important for infants to have this human interaction for their development.
Reed said: "Parents and practitioners agree that while machines may assist with some simple tasks, they cannot replace the spontaneity of play or the warmth of human interaction that defines the quality of childcare."
He added: There are also ethical considerations regarding protection and privacy.
Khaberni
If you work in any of these eleven professions, you can rest easy at night knowing that AI will not replace you.
