King of Morocco Accepts Trumps Invitation to Join the Peace Council

Khaberni - The King of Morocco, Mohammed VI, received an invitation from US President Donald Trump to join as a founding member of the Peace Council, which the American president intends to launch as an initiative aimed at “contributing to peace efforts in the Middle East and adopting a new approach to resolving conflicts worldwide.”

A statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation, and Moroccan Expatriates mentioned that “participation in this council is limited to a select group of prominent international leaders committed to a secure and prosperous future for future generations. This invitation acknowledges His Majesty's enlightened leadership, may God assist him, and his indispensable role as a peace actor. It also attests to the trust he enjoys with the President of the United States and the international community.”

After praising the commitment and vision of President Donald Trump for advancing peace, the King graciously responded positively to the invitation. In this context, the Kingdom of Morocco will proceed to ratify the founding charter of this council.
