Khaberni - The director of the Jordanian Seismic Observatory, engineer Ghassan Sweidan, said no reports of earthquake feelings had been received from citizens or specialized security forces.
The seismic monitoring stations in the Kingdom recorded an earthquake today, Monday, in the area of Lake Tiberias.
Sweidan explained that the earthquake occurred at 4:40 AM, with a magnitude of 3 on the Richter scale, and at a depth of 10 kilometers.
He confirmed that the shake was felt in some areas close to its location, with no reports of material damage or human injuries.
Sweidan also mentioned that the Jordanian Seismic Observatory continues to monitor seismic activity in the region, urging citizens not to worry, and affirming that such shakes are considered part of the natural seismic activity of the area.
