Khaberni - The Syrian Ministry of Interior stated that its security units have begun entering the countryside of Deir ez-Zor Governorate in the east, as part of a plan aimed at organized positioning in all towns and villages.
The Syrian Interior Ministry continued in a statement conveyed by the Syrian news agency saying that this comes "in alignment with the comprehensive security plan aimed at protecting civilians and public and private properties, and enhancing security and stability in the region".
Earlier, the Syrian President, Ahmad al-Shar’, confirmed that state institutions will enter the three eastern and north-eastern governorates, and that all outstanding issues with the Syrian Democratic Forces "SDF" will be resolved.
During a press conference following the signing of a ceasefire and full integration agreement of the Syrian Democratic Forces into the Syrian state institutions, Shar’ stated that "the Syrian state is a unified state centralized in decision-making, and state institutions will enter all Syrian geography and manage all affairs of the region, whereas in some areas with special status, the security elements will be from the residents of these areas."
