As part of the regular meetings organized by the Dean of Student Affairs at Arab Amman University, Professor Dr. Mohammad Al-Widian, President of Arab Amman University, met with the international students at the university, with the university's commitment to continuous communication with its students who are the main pillar in the educational process.
In this regard, Dr. Al-Widian explained during the meeting, which was attended by Professor Dr. Hossam Al-Hamd, Vice President for Planning and Quality Assurance, Dr. Mohammad Bin Tarif, Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Mohammad Shehab
Assistant Dean of Scientific Research and Graduate Studies representing Professor Dr. Ismail Yamin, Assistant President for Academic Affairs, deans of the colleges, Dr. Falah Al-Ajmi, Director of the Office of Following-up on International and Gulf Students, and Mr. Mohammad Al-Muhairat, Director of the Office for Arab and Foreign Students at the Dean of Student Affairs, about Arab Amman University's ranking and its aspirations within local and global rankings. He pointed out the university's efforts in developing infrastructure through expanding buildings and facilities, as well as continuing to improve and update all facilities contributing to student services. Dr. Al-Widian also mentioned that the university administration adopts an open-door policy and stressed the importance of students being familiar with the regulations and rules to know their rights and duties, and encouraged them to participate in all university-organized events and activities aimed at building their personalities and developing their leadership skills, and to present their suggestions through the suggestion and complaint boxes found across all university buildings.
Dr. Bin Tarif emphasized the importance of students updating their information continuously to ensure their constant communication with the university, and stressed the need for their participation in events and activities organized by the university, through joining student clubs at the Dean of Student Affairs, confirming the importance of activating the use of the university ID and attending workshops and courses offered by the Career Guidance Office, especially regarding the student skill portfolio that helps them acquire the necessary knowledge for entering the job market, and he added that university education alongside what students receive from scientific knowledge and courses also provides them with cultural and social skills through their engagement in the student community and their interaction with the diverse cultures within the university.
In his role, Dr. Al-Ajmi highlighted the full commitment of international students to the laws, noting the great efforts they put in coordinating their activities and balancing between travel and coming to the university, and he praised their influential role in marketing the university in their countries, confirming that the university administration always opens its doors to them to address any challenges or issues they may face.
