The College of Sharia in Arab Amman Visits the Love Artery Association and Gives an Awareness Lecture on Parenting

Khaberni  -   Within the framework of Arab Amman University's commitment to enhance community communication and reinforce the culture of volunteer work and service to the local community, Dr. Kifah Al-Souri, the Dean of the College of Sharia, and Dr. Alaa Al-Bourini, the head of the Department of Sharia and Islamic Studies at the university, visited the charitable Love Artery Association, a leading institution in charitable and community work. This visit aimed to explore future cooperation between the university and the association in areas of local community service. It also included implementing joint programs to support needy families and presenting educational and awareness initiatives that contribute to the social and moral awareness development among university students. Additionally, the visit included discussing ways to organize joint training workshops and voluntary campaigns aimed at empowering youth and the local community and enhancing the spirit of giving and initiative.

During the visit, Dr. Al-Souri delivered an awareness lecture titled: "From Home Begins the Building: Parenting in a Changing Time," in which she covered several main topics, notably: the foundations of parenting in light of the Quran and Sunnah, the impact of social media on parenting, in addition to discussing the main problems facing children and parents in the face of contemporary challenges and ways to handle them that contribute to building a balanced family and an aware society. Dr. Al-Souri emphasized the importance of maintaining continuous communication between children and their parents, providing necessary advice, guidance, and support, and enabling them to develop their skills to be the builders of the future and actively contribute to serving the local community.

This visit reflects Arab Amman University's ongoing commitment to organizing field visits and collaborating with charitable and community institutions, aiming to enhance the students' role in volunteer work, develop their academic and social skills, and shape their personalities to become future leaders capable of serving their community and contributing to its development in line with the university's values and vision towards inclusive and responsible education.
