Khaberni - In the framework of Arab Amman University's commitment to enhancing the practical aspect for its students, and elevating the level of technical knowledge that meets the demands of the labor market, and under the guidance of Professor Dr. Mohammad Al-Widian, the president of the university, and with the support of Professor Dr. Malik Al-Salem Al-Anaqreh, the dean of the College of Aviation Sciences, the college organized a specialized lecture titled "Professional Communications in the Workplace". The lecture was delivered by Engineer Muawiya Abu Rajaih from Smart Cell for Communication System and Contracting, attended by Dr. Ahmad Al-Hasban, the head of the Aircraft Maintenance Department, numerous faculty members, and students from various specializations.
The lecture covered the basics related to modern communication systems, and the importance of their availability as a main element in the infrastructure of facilities and institutions, due to their pivotal role in ensuring work efficiency and service continuity. During the lecture, Engineer Abu Rajaih highlighted the key concepts related to professional communication systems, requirements for the design and implementation of communication networks according to standards that ensure high dependability and safe information flow in various work environments, especially in vital sectors. Abu Rajaih particularly emphasized the communication systems, devices, and equipment used in airports, explaining their importance in supporting the communication system and coordination among ground crews, alongside the connection and communication systems between the ground and the sky, and their role in enhancing the efficiency of operational processes and achieving the highest levels of safety in the aviation sector.
The lecture witnessed notable interaction from the students through their questions and queries about the applications of communication systems in airports, mechanisms for choosing suitable devices and equipment, in addition to the technical challenges faced in implementing communication infrastructure in complex operational environments, where the engineer provided comprehensive answers based on his extensive practical experience in the field of communication systems and specialized project implementation.
This lecture is part of a series of scientific and practical activities carried out by the College of Aviation Sciences at Arab Amman University, aiming to link theoretical aspects with practical applications, enhance the students’ professional readiness, and align educational outputs with the requirements of the aviation sector and the job market locally, regionally, and internationally.
