Khaberni - Middle East University celebrated the anniversary of Isra and Mi'raj in a religious event held under the patronage of the Chairman of the University's Board of Trustees, Dr. Yaqoub Nasser al-Din, with notable official and academic attendance.
The celebration program, attended by the representative of the Minister of Awqaf, Islamic Affairs and Holy Places, Dr. Sultan al-Qaralleh, included religious and cultural segments that highlighted the spiritual and intellectual significance of the Isra and Mi'raj anniversary.
Dr. al-Qaralleh delivered a religious sermon on behalf of the Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs, in which he discussed the spiritual and educational dimensions of this great anniversary, emphasizing the noble meanings it embodies in faith, patience, and spiritual elevation, and linking religious values with proper human and social behavior.
This celebration is part of Middle East University's commitment to revive major religious occasions and enhance its value-driven and cultural presence in the university environment, which aligns with its academic and educational mission, and contributes to building a balanced, aware, and deeply rooted university personality in its religious constants and civilizational
identity.
The event also included the organization of religious competitions and the presentation of chanting segments performed by students from the university, with the participation of the Ministry of Awqaf's band.
