Liverpool Player Salah is wronged and should leave the club

Khaberni - German Dietmar Hamann, a former Liverpool player, believes that current team star Mohamed Salah is being "wronged" this season, indicating that the Egyptian forward should consider leaving the club as soon as possible.

Liverpool's struggles in the Premier League continued after Salah left to play with the Egyptian national team in the African Nations Cup, where they finished fourth. The previous Premier League champions drew with Burnley on Saturday with a score of one all, marking the team's fourth consecutive draw in the Premier League during Mo's absence.

Arne Slot expressed his happiness with the Egyptian star's return to the team after the end of his African participation, stating that he is an important player even if the Dutch coach "has 15 forwards," but Dietmar Hamann, the 2004-2005 UEFA Champions League winner, sees that the Egyptian star is being wronged this season.

Hamann told the "Bet Gott" sports betting platform on Saturday: Liverpool's performance was poor even in Salah's absence, so it is unfair to blame the Egyptian player for the declining results.

He continued: I did not like Salah's statement when he said he does not want to fight for his place. After signing a number of players, Mohamed must make every effort to earn the right to play as a starter.

He continued: Is Salah ready to sit on the bench if Slot thinks there is a better player available? If he cannot accept that, then perhaps it is better for him to leave the club.

He concluded: Salah has had difficulties in scoring from open play since December 2024, and the question here is how capable he is of influencing the games as he gets older? But maybe the next six months will make a big difference.
