Khaberni - Turkey achieved a record number in the export sector during the year 2025, with revenues reaching 273.4 billion dollars, marking an increase of 4.5% compared to the year 2024.
According to the data from the Turkish Exporters Assembly, the Turkish goods export sector witnessed a qualitative leap during the past year, continuing the growth that started in 2021.
Largest Importers
• The data showed that Germany topped the list of the largest importers of Turkish products last year with a value of 19.8 billion dollars, achieving an increase of 9.57% compared to the previous year.
The data indicated that the exports to Germany accounted for 8.36% of the total Turkish exports during the past year.
• The United Kingdom came in second place with export values amounting to 14.2 billion dollars.
• It was followed by the United States with exports reaching 13.2 billion dollars.
The Turkish Exporters Assembly confirmed that Turkey has been able to increase its exports regularly and continuously since 2021, reflecting an improvement in the competitiveness of the Turkish economy and expanding its presence in global markets.
Technology Exports
The Turkish Ministry of Trade mentioned in a statement on Friday that the country's exports of high and medium-high technology products totaled 112 billion dollars in 2025.
Turkey’s exports in this area included products requiring high technologies such as the aviation and aerospace sector, weapons and ammunition, ground vehicles with engines, medical products, and computer and electrical equipment.
According to data from the Turkish Exporters' Association of the Eastern Black Sea Region, Turkey achieved revenues of about 2.256 billion dollars from hazelnut exports last year.
Moreover, Turkey’s exports of ships and yachts and their services during the year 2025 increased by 17.4% to reach 2.243 billion dollars, thus recording the highest annual level in its history, according to the Ship and Yacht Exporters' Association.
