On his part, artist Mohamed Ramadan revealed, in a video on his Instagram account on Saturday evening, about his exclusion from the singing participation at the closing ceremony of the Africa Cup of Nations, describing the situation as "annoying" during the preparations.
Ramadan clarified that he was happy to participate in the Africa Cup of Nations album, and took time off to shoot the project in Marrakech, before being informed of the postponement of his performance from the opening to the closing ceremony, due to "a campaign questioning why an Egyptian artist was participating in a tournament held in Morocco".
