Interior Ministry Urgent measures to alleviate congestion on King Hussein Bridge

Khaberni - Interior Minister Mazen Al-Faraya visited King Hussein Bridge this Sunday morning, to review the workflow and the level of services provided to travelers.
During the visit, Minister Al-Faraya observed the main issues facing the travelers, amidst the designated working hours on the other side, and how this impacts the limitation of the number of bridge users.
Furthermore, Al-Faraya assured the situation of the Umrah pilgrims from the West Bank, noting the impact of their increased numbers on bridge congestion and emphasizing the importance of providing optimal services to them, especially given the expected rise in pilgrim numbers during this period.
In this context, the minister toured the bridge’s facilities, listened directly to travelers about the nature of challenges they face, and directed the relevant authorities to implement urgent improvements to the infrastructure and manage the impact of the congestion in a way that spares travelers any suffering while they are in the bridge area.
