Khaberni - Within the framework of the agreement between Amman Arab University and (Odoo Education), and under the guidance of Professor Dr. Mohammad Al-Widian, the university president aiming to enhance the students' employment opportunities by strengthening partnerships with international institutions and linking academic outputs with labor market needs, the Business College organized a specialized applied workshop on Odoo systems managed by the (Odoo Education) team, supervised and coordinated by Dr. Ammar Al-Rawashdeh, the assistant dean of the Business School at Amman Arab University.
The workshop aimed to activate hands-on training and acquaint students with the mechanisms of working on Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems in environments that simulate the professional reality, with the participation of (60) male and female students from various Business School majors. The workshop included an introduction to the Odoo Diploma, which offers direct job opportunities at Odoo partners upon graduation, alongside implementing practical scenarios in business management, supply chain management, logistics science, digital marketing, and management information systems. The students were divided into work groups to execute a Mini-ERP project, with documentation of learning outcomes through measurable performance indicators and practical application tests.
In this regard, Dr. Ahoud Al-Khasawneh, the Dean of the Business School at Amman Arab University, emphasized that this visit aligns with the college's vision aimed at professionally qualifying the students and directly connecting them with the job market, enhancing their practical skills to keep up with the rapid changes in the business environment. At the end of the visit, the participating students expressed their appreciation for this distinctive practical experience, confirming its importance in honing their skills and enhancing their professional readiness to join the job market after graduation.
