The refusal to receive the US ambassador by one of the Jordanian tribes opened all analytical doors and evolved into a rich topic of discussion for everyone involved... and turned into the talk of the Jordanian street, with supporters and opponents linking the incident to Jordanian traditions and customs, and some even took a religious doctrinal angle on the incident... Everyone started to provide their analyses and theories about this act... We entered a maze of discussions, leading to seminars being organized and political dialogues being held where politicians, ministers, former deputies, and dignitaries participated... everyone had something to say as if Jordanians had no other issues, and this incident might affect the international relations between Jordan and the United States.
If we go back to the traditions and customs upheld by Jordanian tribes, we find respect for guests, assistance to the distressed, and honoring them, while at the same time, we see manhood and dignity, which should prompt Jordanians not to follow the narrators who analyze the topic according to their personal desires, let what happened be seen as a fleeting snapshot.
