Khaberni - Security agencies in Al Diwaniyah governorate in Iraq have arrested a woman after she killed her 13-year-old son by hanging him with a clothesline, in a tragic incident that shook the province on Saturday morning.
Local reports revealed that the crime occurred following a family dispute between the victim and his mother, and in a moment of anger, the mother proceeded to hang her son using a clothesline.
The security forces were able to arrest the suspect immediately after the incident was reported, where she confessed to committing the crime in front of judicial authorities.
The suspect was transferred to the relevant judicial authorities to complete the investigations and take the necessary legal measures against her according to Iraqi law.
