Disguised as Stephen Hawking to save patients 12 humanitarian surprises shook the emotions of the Spanish

Khaberni - Twelve actors organized a striking artistic performance on the stage of "Gran Teatro Falla" in Spain, where they appeared disguised as the late scientist Stephen Hawking in motorized wheelchairs.

This performance was part of the Cadiz Carnival competitions for the year 2026, aiming to give people with disabilities a voice and visibility in public forums, transforming the artistic stage into a means of human solidarity.

On his part, Miguel Ángel Lul, one of the group members, explained that the commitment to this cause is due to the nature of the work of the show's director "Paco" with people with disabilities.

The group, which was named "Chirigota en Teoría", made sure to invite Francisco Pedregal, president of the "ELA Andalucía" (a non-profit Spanish organization based in Seville working to support individuals affected by Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS)), to attend the rehearsals before the official performance.

Pedregal confirmed that the content presented a respectful image of ALS patients, away from any offense, which contributed to creating a state of community awareness towards this harsh disease.

According to the Spanish newspaper "Diario de Cádiz", the initiative moved from the performance aspect to direct financial support immediately after participating in the competition.

The group decided to donate the twelve robotic chairs used in the performance to benefit ALS patients.

This step contributes to providing vital technical equipment not covered by traditional government aid, thereby enhancing the mobility and daily movement of the affected individuals.
