A Real Nightmare Woman Wakes Up to a Giant Python Wrapped Around Her Body

Khaberni - An Australian woman experienced moments of shock and terror after waking up in her bedroom to discover a huge snake wrapped around her chest, in an unusual incident that occurred in one of the coastal areas in Australia.

According to the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC), the snake was a "carpet python" approximately two and a half meters (eight feet) long. The woman, named Blor, initially thought that what she felt on top of her was one of her pet dogs, before the truth gradually became apparent, according to "NDTV."

Her husband reportedly told her very calmly, "Darling, don't move, there is a two and a half meter carpet python on you," in an attempt to avoid any sudden movement that might agitate the animal.

Despite the shock, Blor said that her first thought was not fear for herself, but worry for her dogs, fearing that they might realize the presence of the snake and try to attack it. She added, "I thought that if my Dalmatian dog noticed the snake, the moment would turn into complete chaos."

After the husband managed to get the dogs out and secure them outside the room, he asked his wife to slowly withdraw from under the covers without any movement that might provoke the snake. Blor described those moments saying, "I was crawling slowly, asking myself: Is this really happening? It was incredibly strange."

As soon as she moved away from the bed, she noticed that the size of the snake was so large that part of its tail remained visible outside the window shutter, suggesting it entered the home through the window gaps. She noted that she was later able to capture it, confirming that it did not display aggressive behavior, saying, "Even when I caught it, it wasn’t visibly panicked; it swayed calmly in my hands."

The "carpet python" is a constrictor snake prevalent in the coastal regions of Australia, and it typically feeds on small animals such as birds. Although its numbers have not seen a significant increase, the ongoing urban expansion at the expense of natural habitats has led to increased sightings of it within residential areas, according to local reports.
