For the tenth consecutive year Abu Dhabi the safest city in the world

Khaberni  - Abu Dhabi renewed its leadership in the list of the world's safest cities for the tenth consecutive year, according to the global statistical platform "Numbeo," specialized in security, quality of life, and cost of living indicators.

This ranking, which the Emirati capital has maintained since 2017, confirms Abu Dhabi's global leadership in establishing a system of security, stability, and quality of life, and highlights its status as a global destination for living, working, and investing.

The UAE news agency "WAM" quoted the Chief of Abu Dhabi Police, Major General Ahmed Saif bin Zaitoon Al Mehairi, saying that this achievement is the result of a wise leadership vision and continuous support from Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the President of the State, as well as comprehensive institutional work and sincere efforts exerted by the members of Abu Dhabi Police around the clock, supported by proactive advanced strategies, intelligent use of modern technologies and artificial intelligence, and a conscious community partnership forming the first line of defense for the security and stability of the society.

Al Mehairi explained that this strategy reflects an integrated approach based on human capacity development, enhancing institutional partnerships, and empowering the community through awareness and engagement, alongside continuous investment in modern technologies and smart systems that support decision making and enhance public safety, in line with the best global practices and achieving the highest levels of community reassurance.

In turn, Major General Sheikh Mohammed bin Tahnoon Al Nahyan, the Director General of Abu Dhabi Police, affirmed that this global ranking embodies the success of the wise leadership vision which has made human security a fundamental pillar for sustainable development, contributed to establishing a secure and attractive environment for living, working, and investing, and solidified Abu Dhabi as a global model for urban security and quality of life.

Al Nahyan pointed out that this accolade reflects the commitment of the Emirate and Abu Dhabi Police to continue the journey of development and innovation, moving towards a more secure and sustainable future, putting humans at the core of projects and plans, and boosting the confidence of the community and visitors in the advanced level of the security system and police services.
