Between them countries pay a billion dollars Draft of the Peace Council Charter in Gaza reveals Trumps conditions

Khaberni  - according to a draft, Bloomberg U.S. reveals that the administration of U.S. President Donald Trump demands that countries pay a contribution of no less than a billion dollars to stay in the new Peace Council concerning Gaza.

According to the draft charter of the proposed group, which Bloomberg had access to, President Trump will preside over this council initially, he will decide who is invited to join the council, which – according to the draft - will make its decisions by majority, with each member state having one vote, although all decisions remain subject to the president's approval.

Bloomberg reports that the tenure of each member state shall not exceed 3 years from the date this charter comes into effect and will be renewable by a decision from President Trump.

According to the draft, the 3-year membership term does not apply to member countries that contribute more than one billion U.S. dollars in cash to the Peace Council in the first year.

Critics fear that Trump is seeking to establish an alternative or competitor to the United Nations, which he has often criticized.

The draft charter describes the council as "an international organization striving to enhance stability, restore good governance and law, and ensure the achievement of lasting peace in affected areas or areas threatened by conflict." The council officially forms once 3 member countries accept the charter.

Trump will also be responsible for adopting the official seal of the group, according to the document.

Trump has invited several world leaders, including Argentine President Javier Mieli and the Prime Minister of Canada and Mark Carney, to be part of a special Peace Council for Gaza, which will be formed under the broader umbrella of the new Peace Council.

This plan has quickly drawn criticism from Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, - who is wanted by the International Criminal Court for committing war crimes in Gaza - who said that it was not coordinated with Israel.

Bloomberg sources indicate that several European countries have been invited to join the Peace Council.

The draft charter shows that Trump himself will control the funds, an issue that most prospective member countries are unlikely to accept, as mentioned by sources who spoke on the condition of anonymity.

The sources added that several countries strongly oppose Trump's draft charter and are coordinating collective efforts to block the proposals.

The charter stipulates that the council will hold at least one voting meeting annually, "and at any additional times and places the president deems appropriate," with the agenda of the meetings subject to the president's approval.

The council will also hold periodic non-voting meetings with its executive council, to be held at least quarterly.

The president will also have the authority to remove any member unless the decision is objected to by two-thirds of the member states. The document states that "President Trump has the power at all times to appoint his successor to the presidency."

On Friday, the White House announced the formation of an initial executive committee including Secretary of State Marco Rubio, the Middle East envoy Steve Witkoff, Trump's son-in-law Jared Kushner, and former British Prime Minister Tony Blair, before forming the general council.
