Madeline Tabars Comments on Menna Shalaby Ignite Controversy

Khaberni - Madeline Tabar sparked a wide controversy after her statements about actress Menna Shalaby, confirming that she has a problem with pronouncing certain letters, but she tried to overcome it, pointing out that this problem is not limited to her alone but is faced by many of her peers in the art scene.

This was during Madeline Tabar's appearance as a guest on the show "White Paper," hosted by the media personality Yumna Badrawi on Al-Nahar channel, where she spoke frankly about her views in the art scene, important milestones in her career, and her upcoming works.

Madeline Tabar revealed that the movie "The Road to Eilat" was a real launching point for her in Egypt, considering it one of the highlights of her artistic journey, as it opened new doors for her and introduced her to actor Mohamed Saad, which helped in establishing her presence in the artistic scene.

Tabar explained that the success of the film prompted her to establish her own production company, however, she was swindled in a scam that led to the total loss of the company, which caused her to distance herself from art for about five years before she returned and found significant changes had occurred in the artistic landscape.

Regarding not obtaining Egyptian citizenship, Madeline Tabar affirmed that she feels a deep sense of belonging to Egypt, and does not see that official papers are a condition for proving this feeling, saying her love for Egypt is endless and does not need documentation.
She also touched on her limited artistic participations in past years, explaining that she had declined several works, including one that would have paired her with actor Mohamed Henedy.

In conclusion, Madeline Tabar revealed that she is continuing to film the series "Ana Waho Whom," written by Nesreen Tafesh, confirming that the work has a different character, and it is scheduled to be aired in the Ramadan drama season of 2026.
