Khaberni - The head of the board of commissioners of the Independent Election Commission, Musa Al-Muayta, emphasized the importance of partnership with political parties, and providing all forms of support within the constitution and the law.
This came during his sponsorship of the workshop "Enhancing Communication with the Media", which is a continuation of the previous workshop held five months ago, presented by media expert Sami Kleib, with the participation of members of the House of Representatives, general secretaries of parties, in collaboration with the French Agency for Media Development, the Dutch Institute for Multi-party Democracy, within the project of supporting democratic reforms in Jordan in cooperation with the European Union.
Al-Muayta also emphasized the importance of continuing the political modernization project, and that the Independent Election Commission is keen on applying the principles of good governance within parties, including electing leadership bodies, setting the tenure of the general secretary, and forming a neutral party court to settle disputes, because the development of parties means ensuring the development of party life and political pluralism.
The workshop included a comprehensive review of media appearance skills in addition to focusing on practical applications of conducting interviews.
