Khaberni - In its commitment to enhancing its students' economic culture and disseminating economic concepts in a simplified interactive manner, the College of Business at the university organized a competition titled: "Our Economy… Our Decision… Our Future", for students in the Principles of Economics course, supervised by Professor Salma Al-Shammari, a faculty member at the College of Business, with the presence of Dr. Ahoud Al-Khasawneh, Dean of the College, and Dr. Amro Al-Zghoul, Head of the Business Management Department.
In this regard, Professor Al-Shammari pointed out that the event aimed to raise the students' economic awareness and tie theoretical concepts to practical reality, which contributes to preparing students capable of making informed economic decisions, understanding the challenges and opportunities faced by the national economy, consistent with Amman Arab University's vision of preparing qualified young cadres with the knowledge and skills needed to enter the job market..
The event included various educational and awareness booths, featuring highlights of prominent economists and their theories, spreading the culture of statistical awareness and spending rationalization, as well as highlighting the importance of small and medium enterprises and their pivotal role in supporting the national economy and job creation, showcasing Jordan's natural resources and economic potentials, and the Kingdom's promising investment opportunities. The event also included a corner for competitions and interactive activities aimed at enhancing applied learning, stimulating critical thinking, and group work among the students, which positively reflected on the level of interaction and participation, and contributed to reinforcing economic concepts in an innovative and interactive way..
