Completion of 12 Projects in the Digital Economy Communications Postal and Cybersecurity Sector

Khaberni - The achievements report of ministries and governmental institutions for December 2025, issued by the Ministry of Government Communication, shows the completion of 12 projects in the sector of digital economy, communications, postal services, and cybersecurity.

According to the report, the Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship launched the online platform "Military Service" to digitize recruitment procedures and communicate with the conscripts efficiently and transparently, reduce bureaucracy, and ensure quick access to information and services.

Jordan ranked 21st globally and fourth in the Arab world in the Digital Government Maturity Index, reflecting the ongoing national efforts to enhance government digital transformation and proceed towards institutional digital maturity, as outcomes of the National Council for Future Technology.

The report highlighted the most significant achievements of the National Cybersecurity Center, which included: issuing the Cybersecurity Situation Report for the third quarter of 2025, training 8 schools on Capture the Flag challenges, winning first place in the Arab region in a competition for the best awareness video, completing the implementation of the National Cybersecurity Framework project for national institutions, and conducting training workshops on Business Modeling and Quantum Risk Calculations for a number of institutions covered by the National Cybersecurity Framework.

In relation to the achievements of the Telecommunications Regulatory Commission, a specialized workshop on the management of the radio spectrum for mobile communications was hosted, in collaboration with the International Association of Mobile Network Operators, with the participation of several relevant local entities and stakeholders in the commission, and the adoption of amendments to the instructions for renewing public communications licenses, published on the commission's website, which were designed to align with the rules of good governance in the public sector by simplifying the procedures related to the renewal of public licenses, and granting a sector-specific public communications license to a company for selling internet services via satellite from Starlink by SpaceX.

The commission also received (501) complaints related to communications and postal services, where (431) complaints were closed, with an achievement rate of 86 percent, while the remaining complaints are still being followed up within the granted timeframe. Additionally, (2612) customs declarations were processed through the commission's centers, and the statistical report for the telecommunications sector for the third quarter of 2025 was issued and published.

The report also noted that the Jordanian Post had its membership renewed in the Board of Directors of the Euromed Postal Union for the term (2026–2028), and the Jordan Post Company continued to provide the monthly medication delivery service to patients of the Ministry of Health and Royal Medical Services in collaboration with Hakeem Health Computing Company, across all provinces of the kingdom after ordering through the Hakimi app.
