Aisha Gaddafi denies the authenticity of a message to the Iranian people attributed to her and demands its removal

Khaberni - Aisha Muammar Gaddafi, daughter of the late Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi, categorically denied the authenticity of what was circulated on the "Arab Iran" page regarding a message attributed to her and addressed to the Iranian people.

The denial was issued in a statement from the media page representing the Gaddafi family, where Aisha expressed her "surprise at her name being mentioned in this context" and affirmed that she has her "own known channels to express her opinions and positions," and does not rely on "unofficial pages or platforms" to convey her political or humanitarian stances.

The statement emphasized that Aisha Gaddafi "has no relation to any circulated or published message on the referred-to pages" and requested the "deletion of the falsely attributed message."

She also called on media outlets and social media users to "ensure accuracy and credibility, and not to follow rumors or unverified news that mislead public opinion."

Aisha Gaddafi concluded her statement by expressing her "sincere wishes for prosperity and peace to the Iranian people."

This statement comes at a time when the region is witnessing multiple tensions, and misleading information is spreading through unofficial platforms, following a wave of protests that erupted in Iran in late December 2025 due to a sharp decline in the value of the Iranian rial, escalating after calls from Reza Pahlavi (son of the deposed Shah) starting January 8, leading to internet disruptions and deadly clashes.

On January 12, the Iranian authorities announced control of the situation, accusing Washington and Tel Aviv of organizing the disturbances.
