According to an analysis published by writer Mati Tuchfeld, the United States is leading the potential military campaign against Iran, while Israel is deeply involved in the intelligence planning and targeting, which is a change from previous stages where its participation was limited to monitoring or partial execution.
The analysis indicated that the administration of President Donald Trump has decided in favor of the Israeli approach, both in terms of the objectives and the nature of the operations, in coordination described as unprecedented, even compared to the Gulf War in the 1990s.
It added that any potential Iranian response targeting Israel might open the door for direct Israeli participation in the attack, at a time, according to the newspaper, where military tasks had already been distributed between the parties, with predictions that the execution is only a matter of time.
