The death of the artist Mohamed El Imam, who participated in the series «Al-Ghawi» starring the star Ahmed Mekky, which was shown during the previous Ramadan season of 2025, was announced on Friday morning, causing the loss of a face known for talent and dedication in the artistic community.
The artist and theater director Sameh Basyouni mourned the deceased through his Facebook account, praying for his mercy and forgiveness, and praising his ethics and biography, confirming that he was an example of a creative artist and a respectable person, and concluded his mourning with the phrase: «We belong to Allah and to Him we shall return».
The series «Al-Ghawi» is considered the last work of the artist Mohamed El Imam, where he appeared through a limited artistic participation opposite Ahmed Mekky, in a work directed by Mohamed Gamal Al Adl, and achieved a notable presence during its Ramadan airing.
