Khaberni - The Israeli Mossad chief, David Barnea, arrived in the United States on Friday morning to discuss developments in Iran, according to an Israeli source and another informed about the meetings.
Barnea's visit comes as part of ongoing consultations between the United States and Israel regarding the protests in Iran and the possibilities of US military action in response to the repression campaign carried out by the Iranian regime.
According to the website "Axios," Barnea is scheduled to meet in Miami with the American envoy Steve Witkoff, who manages the direct communication channel between Washington and Tehran.
According to sources, Witkoff was in contact with the Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi during the period of the protests.
It is not yet clear whether Barnea will meet with US President Donald Trump at the Mar-a-Lago resort during the weekend.
This visit follows a phone call on Wednesday between Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, which addressed the Iranian crisis.
During the call, Netanyahu asked Trump to delay any military action to allow more time for Israel to prepare for a potential Iranian response.
