Khaberni - Specifically
Arrivals from Syria to Jordan this Friday through the Jaber border expressed their displeasure with the delay in their waiting period to complete their customs procedures at (the customs umbrella), due to the absence of an alternate employee for the afternoon shift.
They told Khaberni that the departure of the chief appraiser/Jordanian Customs without a replacement caused a delay in their affairs for more than an hour.
They noted that a number of Jaber travelers are heading to catch planes and travel via Queen Alia International Airport, which disrupts their schedules and flight times.
They emphasized the need to facilitate procedures at the only operational border center between Jordan and Syria to ease the flow of travelers and trips.
