Khaberni - The Jordanian Campaign, in partnership with the Jordanian Hashemite Charitable Organization, carried out an emergency shelter intervention that included the distribution of more than 200 "dome" tents in the first phase, for those affected by low weather conditions, featuring insulated tents that are resistant to water and weather elements, to provide the minimum level of protection and safety to the affected families.
This response is a continuation of the winter campaign initiated by the Jordanian Campaign and the Jordanian Hashemite Charitable Organization at the beginning of the winter season.
In this context, Abdul Rahman Al-Awad, the General Coordinator of the Jordanian Campaign said, "We want to send the best possible thing to the people of Gaza, a tent remains a tent but we aim to develop the relief intervention in the future and introduce mobile homes or modern alternate shelters" and we are working to conclude the matter in the near future.
He added, "The type being distributed today in Gaza is the best available and we are committed to providing the best based on our active partnership with the Hashemite Charitable Organization and at its heart the directives of His Highness King Abdullah II."
The Jordanian Campaign and the Jordanian Hashemite Charitable Organization confirmed the continuation of their humanitarian and relief efforts, and their commitment to support the resilience of the people of Gaza and alleviate their suffering, in partnership with supporting and partner entities, as long as the humanitarian need persists.
