Mercedes Prepares to Launch a New Wave of Cars in 2026 The Year of Major Transformation

Khaberni - Mercedes-Benz is preparing for one of its most ambitious years, with a comprehensive plan to launch a series of new models in 2026 that combine traditional luxury with advanced electric technologies.

According to the "Motor1" website, the initial reveal of the luxury S-Class sedan on January 29 will be followed by the launch of the luxurious S-Class Maybach, which features a longer wheelbase and a V12 engine.

Looking beyond this flagship model, several other new cars are set to be revealed over the next 12 months.

The "largest program for new products and technologies in the company's history" will include the first C-Class car without an internal combustion engine.

This is expected to include the GLC equipped with EQ technology, an electric crossover vehicle, which Mercedes says has already received enough orders to support production until the second half of the year.

Speaking of SUVs, Mercedes, based in Stuttgart, will make some improvements to its larger GLE and GLS models this year.

More importantly, from a sales volume perspective, the new generation of GLA will be launched in 2026, in an electric version.

This model will replace the EQA model, as Mercedes works on merging its offerings of internal combustion engine cars and electric vehicles into a single lineup with a unified design, following negative feedback on its overly streamlined designs.
