US Embassies Warn Their Nationals in Several Countries Including Saudi Arabia Qatar Kuwait Jordan and Israel

Khaberni - US embassies in several countries in the region, including Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Jordan, and Israel have warned their nationals about the ongoing regional tensions, urging all American citizens to be cautious and vigilant.

The US Embassy in Amman issued a statement today, Friday, confirming that it is closely monitoring the ongoing regional tensions, clarifying that there have been no changes to its operations or staff situation, and that consular services are continuing as usual. It confirmed that it will continue to monitor the regional situation and provide updates as necessary.

The embassy urged citizens to follow local media, to communicate directly with airlines in case of affected flights, and to register in the Smart Traveler Enrollment Program (STEP) to receive alerts and important information in emergency situations.

It also encouraged the preparation of a personal emergency plan, to follow the US Department of State's social media accounts, and advised maintaining vigilance and caution and being aware of any unusual behavior.

The statement mentioned that the Jordanian government had activated a warning system in case rockets or drones enter Jordanian airspace, calling for compliance with instructions, seeking appropriate shelter, staying indoors, and avoiding exposure to falling debris.

The embassy highlighted the availability of public safety guidelines via the website of Jordan's National Center for Security and Crisis Management, confirming that Queen Alia International Airport provides direct updates on flight movement for departures from Amman.
