Khaberni - Journalist Ghazi Al-Mirayati revealed the charges that will be directed at the defendants in the case of the bank robbery in Mafraq province today and the expected duration of imprisonment.
Al-Mirayati said in a video that if the defendants involved in the armed robbery are arrested, they will be tried before the State Security Court, adding that they will face several charges, including: engaging in activities that jeopardize the safety and security of the society, disrupting public order, instilling terror among people and intimidating them, endangering economic resources.
He indicated that the expected punishment would be temporary hard labor for a period of 15 years, after convicting any defendant with the charges assigned to them.
He explained that this reading came as a result of previous cases involving armed robberies at several banks in Jordan, which were considered by the State Security Court before and where the charges and duration of imprisonment were as mentioned above.
