Khaberni - The Jordanian National Union Party participated in a dialogic seminar about the communicative role of parties after the elections, which was organized by the Opinion Center for Studies and Research, entitled: “The Communicative Function of Parties in Directing Public Opinion (Post-Elections),” which took place on Thursday morning, the 15th of January, 2026, at the Mahmoud Al-Kayed Hall, at the Opinion Center for Studies, affiliated with the Jordanian Rai newspaper institution.
The party was represented at this seminar by the party's General Secretary Mr. Mohammad Fawaz Al-Khasawneh, and His Excellency Deputy Jihad Al-Abboi, deputy of the National Union Party bloc, whose participation underscored the party’s active presence in national discussions linked to the development of party activities and enhancing its role in the Jordanian political scene.
The dialogic session, chaired by the Director of the Opinion Center for Studies and Research Professor Dr. Salah Al-Abadi, covered a range of topics related to the role of political parties in the post-election phase, particularly regarding the communicative function of parties, the impact of political and media discourse in directing public opinion, building trust with citizens, and enhancing informed political participation.
Representatives of the Jordanian National Union Party emphasized during their interventions the importance of transitioning from electoral discourse to a sustainable communicative political discourse, reflecting realistic party programs, responding to the challenges of the stage, and enhancing the role of parties as a fundamental partner in public life and decision-making.
The participation of the Jordanian National Union Party in this seminar falls within the context of its ongoing interest in developing party performance, engaging in intellectual and institutional dialogues that contribute to the consolidation of program-based party work, and enhancing political culture, in line with the requirements of a modern civil state and the political modernization trajectory in the Kingdom.
