Khaberni - Prince Faisal bin Farhan, the Saudi Foreign Minister, made a phone call to his Iranian counterpart Abbas Araghchi, during which they discussed the developments in the region and ways to support its security and stability.
Yesterday, two Saudi sources told AFP that Saudi Arabia informed Iran that it would not allow its airspace or territory to be used for any potential American military action against it.
The agency today reported that "Saudi Arabia directly informed Tehran that it would not be part of any potential military action against it, and that Saudi territory and airspace would not be used for that purpose."
The Saudi statements reported by the French coincide with the escalating public protests in Tehran, accompanied by American warnings of carrying out military operations targeting Iran.
