Sherine is fine and preparing for a surprise The truth about posts attributed to her daughter about her health condition

Khaberni - A page bearing the name Hana Al-Fiqi, the daughter of the artist Sherine Abdel Wahab, caused widespread controversy during the past few hours, after sharing a series of posts that carry special statements about the Egyptian artist’s health condition.

The page led a widespread media misinformation campaign, after sharing a post confirming that “my mother Sherine Abdel Wahab is in good health, and there is a surprise coming up,” as the news spread intensively over the past few hours across several news sites and pages.

Upon verification, the page does not bear any authentication or genuine private information about Hana Al-Fiqi or Sherine Abdel Wahab, and its followers do not exceed 800 at most.

The page did not settle for spreading misleading news as if it were realistic, but those in charge of it also shared a video clip from a live broadcast that Sherine Abdel Wahab participated in about a year ago on her "TikTok" account, in which she said that she missed her fans who asked her to sing "I Wish I Could Forget You" from her album released in 2025.

The publisher commented on the video on behalf of Hana Al-Fiqi, saying that the video is recent and serves as proof of Sherine Abdel Wahab's good health, and increased the misinformation with statements like: “This broadcast came after my attempts to convince my mother,” as if it was specially recorded to reassure the public about the current state of the star.

In a related context, the media personality Amr Adeeb had denied all the rumors circulating about Sherine Abdel Wahab being transported by ambulance to the home of one of the stars’ sisters, although the artist's brother refuted his statements.

On his part, Mohamed Abdel Wahab, Sherine's brother, clarified that the ambulance transport did indeed occur but it was due to the artist feeling sudden fatigue while with the artist Zeina, leading to her being taken to a nearby hospital for reassurance only, where she underwent medical examinations and an endoscopy, received a sedative that made her unable to return by a regular car, hence she was transported by an ambulance to her home without any urgent intervention or detention in the emergency department.

The spread of these misleading news coincided with Sherine winning the global "AFRIMA" award for 2026 as the Best Artist in North Africa, and some accounts tried to exploit this achievement to lend false credibility to their posts.
