Khaberni - The Egyptian actress Wafaa Salem announced her withdrawal from the decision to retire from acting, and her return to the artistic scene, through her participation in the series "Victims", scheduled to be shown during the upcoming Ramadan drama season.
Wafaa Salem posted a photo from the set on her social media account, featuring her with actor Salah Abdullah, confirming her official joining of the series' team after an absence of about 3 years since she announced her retirement from acting.

Salem revealed amusing behind-the-scenes stories from the shooting, explaining that one of the scenes she shared with Salah Abdullah was reshot multiple times, after she noticed a person on set resembling the late actor Ahmed Zaki, which brought back memories of the movie "The Black Panther" and turned the scene into a wave of laughter among the team.
She added to local media outlets that the situation caused excitement among all those present, including director Hatem Salah El-Din, noting that those moments brought back the ambiance of the good old days at the shooting locations.
Regarding the reason for her retracement from the decision to retire, Wafaa Salem explained that the work and role offered to her encouraged her to return, pointing out that her participation in the Victims came after being convinced by the project and her desire to present artistic works she loves and satisfies the audience in the upcoming period.
The last work of artist Wafaa Salem was her participation in the series "The Killer Who Loved Me", which revolves in a comedic framework around the character of the forensic artist Moataz, who works in criminal investigations and hates seeing blood, yet rumors follow him because of the belief that anyone who angers or hates him meets their demise, although he is not a murderer, and does not possess supernatural powers.
Starring in the series The Killer Who Loved Me, a selection of stars, including Hany Ramzy, Soheir Ramzy, Ahmed Fouad Selim, Mohamed Goma, Yasser Farag, Rania Mansour, alongside a number of other artists, the work was directed by Amr Abedin, and written by Salah Arabi.
