Khaberni - The United Arab Emirates contributed a voluntary financial donation of $1.5 million USD to support the activities and programs of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights Office.
This contribution reflects the UAE's ongoing commitment to the United Nations human rights system, and its support for the work of the High Commissioner for Human Rights in promoting and protecting human rights around the world.
This funding will support the programs and activities of the High Commissioner for Human Rights, in line with its mandate, including its humanitarian work. It will also contribute to efforts to enhance the rights of children, the elderly, women, and people with disabilities, and will also support the work of the Commissioner in strengthening international human rights mechanisms and providing assistance and cooperation to member states.
