Khaberni - Ghassan Sweidan, director of the Jordanian Seismological Observatory, said that an earthquake with a magnitude of 4.1 on the Richter scale was felt by the residents of the capital, Amman, and occurred at 10:00.
Sweidan clarified on Thursday that the epicenter of the earthquake was in the Dead Sea area, without providing further details.
