Khaberni - Real Madrid began the era of its new technical director Alvaro Arbeloa with a strong slap by losing 2-3 to their hosts Albacete, a second division club, exiting the King's Cup of Spain in the round of 16.
Albacete's goals were scored by Javi Vilar and Jefté Betancor "double" in the minutes 42, 82 and 95, while Franco Mastiantono and Gonzalo Garcia scored Real’s goals in minutes 45+3 and 91.
Real received a very strong blow just 48 hours after Alvaro Arbeloa was appointed as the technical director of the team following the dismissal of Xabi Alonso.
The elimination from the King's Cup comes days after a defeat against Barcelona with a score of 2-3 last Sunday in the final of the Spanish Super Cup.
