Khaberni - Mohamed Abdel Wahab, the brother of Egyptian singer Sherine Abdel Wahab, continued to talk about her recent crisis, and the appeals that some had made for intervention to treat her and return her to her normal state.
Abdel Wahab wrote on his personal Facebook account about the reality of some people's intervention to treat his sister, and the reasons why the family kept their distance from her.
Abdel Wahab wrote, "I swear to God, 90% of the news is false and completely untrue," pointing out that some people exploit his sister in the media, denying that there was any unity among some artists to support her.
"Nobody helped except for two," thus Mohamed Abdel Wahab began to discuss who truly supported his sister, pointing out that Zeina and singer Ahmed Saad were the ones who provided help, while the popular singer Mahmoud El-Leithy was with her daily at her home.
Afterward, Mohamed Abdel Wahab spoke about the real reasons that led the family to distance themselves from Sherine, considering the true cause to be her life turning into a "battle."
The family intervened to support her four years ago, it was said about them that they "benefited financially from her," and "those who spread these rumors indeed succeeded in their aim, as Sherine's treatment was stopped at that time."
Abdel Wahab also discussed the details of transporting his sister by ambulance, recounting what happened that day, after Zeina was on her way to Sherine, who then told her about feeling unwell, leading Zeina to take her to the nearby Air Force Hospital.
There, the doctors requested an endoscopy and Sherine received a medical sedative, which left her unable to travel by car, so she was transported back home by ambulance.
In conclusion, Abdel Wahab confirmed that Zeina and Ahmed Saad supported his sister because of their long-standing acquaintance before fame, and the duo tried to keep the matter confidential and not disclose their help for Sherine, in order to avoid misunderstanding. However, what happened in the end was that they faced a funded campaign, according to Sherine's brother.
