Maltese Minister of Interior Defence and Employment Receives Ambassador Abu Ruman and Discuss Enhancing Bilateral Cooperation

Khaberni - Maltese Minister of Internal Affairs, Defence, Security, and Employment, Byron Camilleri, received at his office in the capital Valletta today, the Ambassador of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan to Tunisia and non-resident to the Republic of Malta, Abdullah Abu Ruman.


During the meeting, Minister Camilleri praised the level of relations between the two friendly countries, affirming his keenness to develop joint cooperation in many fields, especially in coordination and exchange of expertise, and exploring the possibilities for cooperation in the fields of labor and employment, to meet the needs of certain sectors in the Maltese labor market, within the legal frameworks in force.


  For his part, Ambassador Abu Ruman emphasized the importance of enhancing cooperation between the two countries, through the exchange of expertise and capacity building.


  Ambassador Abu Ruman also highlighted the abundance of qualified, trained, and competent Jordanian personnel in the fields of services, construction, tourism, and information technology, stressing the potential benefits from them, within a practical and gradual cooperation program, serving common interests and enhancing development and the development of bilateral relations.
