Saudi Arabia Sudanese executed for cocaine smuggling

Khaberni  - Saudi authorities announced the enforcement of the death penalty (execution) against a Sudanese convicted of smuggling cocaine.

Today, the Ministry of Interior issued a statement about enforcing the capital punishment in the case of Muhammad Al-Dhaif Bajouri Muhammad (of Sudanese nationality), for his attempt to smuggle cocaine into the Kingdom. By God's grace, security forces successfully arrested the aforementioned criminal, and the investigation led to his indictment. He was subsequently tried in the competent court, which ruled the proof of the charges against him and sanctioned his execution. The verdict became final after the ruling was appealed and later upheld by the Supreme Court, followed by a royal decree to enforce what was decided by law.

The execution was carried out today (Wednesday) 25 / 7 / 1447H corresponding to 14 / 1 / 2026 in the Mecca region.
