Jordan Notes Regarding the Operation of King Hussein Bridge Caused by the Other Side

Khaberni - The King Hussein Bridge witnessed, on Wednesday, an active movement of travelers, coinciding with the return of a large number of Umrah buses.

It is expected that the active movement will continue from 1/14 to 1/21 due to the return of pilgrims from Saudi Arabia to the Palestinian territories.

This morning, crowds of travelers gathered, standing at the outer gate of the bridge, before entering the hall to complete the procedures.

It was observed that some of the notes recorded regarding the operation of the bridge are caused by the other side (the Israeli side) which delays the entry of buses, according to Al-Mamlaka channel.

The Bridges Security Administration had earlier announced that it is expected that the King Hussein Bridge will witness active movement of travelers from 1/14 to 1/21, coinciding with the return of a large number of Umrah buses.

The Bridges Security Administration called on bridge users to be meticulous and adhere to the platform's order, to avoid crowding and crises, and to facilitate procedures and save time and effort for travelers.

The administration also announced partial closures during the return of pilgrims on the coming Friday, 1/16/2026 and Sunday, 1/18/2026.
