Khaberni - A young man was subjected to extortion inside an apartment in one of the areas of West Amman, after being lured by a woman who advertised massage sessions for 15 dinars, according to what was reported by Ghazi Al-Mirayat, the journalist specialized in judicial affairs.
According to Al-Mirayat, the young man entered the room he was invited to, only to be surprised by the entrance of a person carrying a "machete", who threatened him, filmed him, and forced him to sign a promissory note for 10,000 dinars. He also took 50 dinars that the young man had.
Latterly, the extortionist demanded 1,300 dinars in exchange for deleting the recording and returning the promissory note, before the Criminal Investigation Department intervened and the culprits were arrested and referred to the judiciary.
