Khaberni - A statistic conducted by the non-governmental organization "ACLED" shows that since Trump's return to the White House, the American military has executed a number of airstrikes equal to those carried out during Joe Biden's entire presidency.
According to the organization, with the airstrikes carried out by American aircraft on Venezuelan air defenses during the capture of Nicolas Maduro on January 3, the total number of strikes executed since Trump took office for his second term on January 20, 2025, amounts to 672 airstrikes or drone strikes compared to 694 during the entire Joe Biden term (2021-2025).
Yemen was targeted in at least seven out of ten raids last year, most of them operations targeting the Houthis. About two out of every ten raids targeted "terrorist movements" in Somalia.
The United States also conducted airstrikes in Nigeria, Syria, Iraq, and Iran, and since September has been targeting boats it claims are smuggling drugs in the Caribbean and Pacific Ocean regions.
These strikes have resulted in the deaths of over a thousand people, including civilians, according to the "ACLED" count.
