Khaberni - The Guilds of Bakery Owners and Owners of Fuel Stations, Gas Depositories, and Agencies have not registered any complaints related to the availability of essential materials such as bread or fuels, amid the weather depression affecting the kingdom.
The head of the Bakery Owners Guild, Abdul Ilah Hamwi, told "Al Mamlaka" that the guild has not received any complaints about the availability of bread in all regions of the kingdom, pointing out that an increase in citizen awareness and accurate weather forecasts have put an end to the rush at bakeries that used to occur before any weather depression.
Hamwi also noted that the demand for sweets has increased during the depression despite the weak purchasing power of the citizens, emphasizing that "Jordan's wheat stock is sufficient and there are no problems in the flour supply process" to the bakeries.
Meanwhile, the head of the Fuel Station Owners Guild, Nahar Al-Saeedat stated that the guild has not received any complaints about a shortage of fuel during the current weather depression, highlighting the fuel sector's benefits from experiences of past years, besides setting up an action plan with the Petroleum Refinery to ensure the availability of gas in all regions of the kingdom.
Al-Saeedat added in his talk with "Al Mamlaka" that the amount of gas consumed during the depression reached 200 thousand cylinders daily, noting that the number of cylinders sold during the past December reached 5 million cylinders.
He also pointed out that gas is the most used heating method by citizens, followed by electricity, indicating the difficulty of counting the daily sold quantities of kerosene due to the staggered distribution of fuel to stations.
