Iran accuses Trump of encouraging political disturbances including violence

Khaberni - Iran accused US President Donald Trump on Tuesday of encouraging political instability, inciting violence, and threatening the country’s sovereignty, territorial unity, and national security in a message sent by the Iranian Ambassador to the United Nations, Amir Saeed Iravani, to the United Nations Security Council.

Iravani stated in the message, which was also sent to the United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres, “The United States and the Israeli regime bear an undeniable direct legal responsibility for the losses in the lives of innocent civilians, especially among the youth.”

This message was in response to a post by Trump on social media earlier on Tuesday.

Trump encouraged Iranian protesters to continue their movement until the authorities are overthrown, promising via his network Truth Social that "help is on the way" to them without further details.

The American President wrote: "Iranian patriots, continue to protest - take control of your institutions", adding: "I have cancelled all meetings with Iranian officials until the senseless killing of protesters stops."
