Khaberni - A statement issued on Tuesday by the virtual American Embassy in Tehran indicated that the United States has urged its citizens to immediately leave Iran, and advised them to consider leaving by land to Turkey or Armenia.
The statement said, "American citizens should leave Iran now. We advise them to consider leaving Iran by land to Turkey or Armenia, if it is safe."
Iran is currently witnessing the largest anti-government protests in years, at a time when the Trump administration is considering how to handle the situation.
